My dog has been rubbing it’s butt on the ground, and I’m not sure what this means? Do I need to go to the vet? It is not accompanied by diarrhea.

A dog rubbing it’s butt on the ground can be from a variety of different reasons, but my dog did it once whenever it needed it’s anal glands expressed.
